It was cold on Saturday morning, about 3 degrees. Typical of a January day. Not the sort of day where you want to jump in to a lake but that is exactly what we did.
At Navitas, we are supporting the amazing Samuel’s Charity. The Polar Plunge was their New Year fundraising event at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes. Seven of us braved the cold to raise some much needed money for 2 Charities.
Lorraine and Joff both took the plunge with Joff being the braver of the pair and managing to jump in with everyone else. Lorraine wasn’t feeling so brave and took a few minutes longer to get in the water.
It wasn’t a long plunge but was great fun and followed by good company and coffee.
There will be more support for Samuel’s Charity throughout the year. Many thanks to all of our lovely clients in helping us beat our target.
