This is great – however what happens if you become too busy to keep the website up to date? This is where we are here to support you.
We provide a WordPress management service which will cover backing up your website and database and we will do whatever work is required up to your hourly quota.
Our aim is to provide you with a preventative service that makes your WordPress installation as safe and secure as it can be and should something go wrong then we are here to make it right again.

If you have a Navitas Design website we still provide our basic maintenance package that includes a complete offsite monthly backup of your website, monthly updates to the WordPress core, themes & plugins. This service does not include any hack cleaning service. Prices start from just £39.00 per month. Additional changes to your website will be billed at £70.00 per hour outside of your website quota. FAQ
- Can I cancel at anytime?
Yes – of course you can. The last thing we want to do is hold you into a contract. You are free to leave the plan at anytime.
- Can I use the plan on my own web hosting package?
Yes you can, however the price will remain the same and we cannot guarantee hack cleaning as we don’t know if your own host will provide this service. We will work with them to restore a back up we have if they are happy for us to do this.
- Can I do this myself?
We provide a clear instructions on how to back up and update WordPress in our blog. Check it out here… . We strongly recommend that you take back ups of your files and databases before doing anything though which will help should anything go wrong.
- What is a small task?
A small task is a requirement such as adding items to a gallery, adding a blog post or changing some of your text. It doesn’t cover anything that is over 30 minutes in length. If you require this kind of work we consider it a quotable task and can provide you with a price. We make every effort to carry out small tasks within 48 hours.
- Do I really get unlimited small tasks?
Small tasks take us less than 30 minutes and are processed in 48 hours. We only accept one small request at a time. Once your request is complete you can request another. We keep our number of Total Protection plans limited to ensure that we cope with your requests.
- Can anyone sign up to your care plans?
No, unfortunately our care plans are reserved for Navitas Design built websites.
What happens if your website is out of date but you'd like to join one of our care plans?
If you are interested in our Care Plans but your website is very out of date we can provide a Care Plan audit where we will audit your website to ensure that there will be no issues by updating it. We will take a back up from your current web hosting and move it to our server where we will update your website remotely to ensure that there are no issues. In this audit we will also provide broken link checks, speed optimisation and a security scan with recommendations on the best solution for cleaning a hack should this have happened.
We provide labour time up to 2 hours so if we find that you have a plugin, for example, that caused a hack as it’s no longer supported, that time could be spent towards a replacement or building that section of the site separately. Any additional time will be invoiced at £70 + VAT per hour and work will only be started prior to your agreement.
